Byford & Districts Country Club are delighted to advise its members the Club has officially reopened its doors as the easing of COVID-19 restrictions continue to take place. We are thankful to all our members for their ongoing support and we are happy to report we have served over 10,000 meals since our reopening on June 6th, 2020.
As we are experiencing high levels of trade, we strongly suggest you make a booking to guarantee you a table. Bookings can be made through our administration team on (08) 9525 1276 or via our website at www.bdcclub.com.au.
The Club endured a challenging couple of months since closing our doors on March 18th due to the pandemic, but we are delighted to now be in a position to welcome back our entire team. We currently employ a total of 35 staff members at the Club, compared to just 6 a little over 3 years ago. We are truly humbled and proud to support the community through employment, fundraising, sporting and social activities.

Update on Club Operations and Upcoming Annual General Meeting
The Board of Management recently advised members of our intention to host the Club’s Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 18th July 2020. Unfortunately, we encountered a couple of unforeseen issues during the preparation stages for this meeting, so we are required to postpone until Saturday, 5th September 2020 at 10am.
This also means we will be conducting a renewed board member election campaign, as nomination criteria from the previous campaign will change.
We are working closely with Clubs WA and the Department of Commerce to ensure we deliver a successful AGM, so the Club can continue to go from strength-to-strength in the 2020/2021 membership year and beyond.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the Club soon.
Regards
Shana Smith
Board Chairperson
