About the role

Working along side our team of dedicated Chefs, you will support the team and play your role in the daily preparation and service of food. You will have great culinary skills producing premium quality cuisine and technical knowledge. You will be someone who is passionate about cooking and in particular ensuring all food is prepared to highest standards.  We are a not-for-profit Club, BUT make no mistake, we are a very busy and fast paced kitchen. We operate 7 Days a week for Lunch and Dinner as well as All Day on Weekends & Public Holidays

Who we’re looking for

To be considered for the role, we’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:

  • Ability to maintain high and consistent food standards at all times
  • Australian recognised (or equivalent) Certificate in Commercial Cookery
  • Min 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
  • Passion for quality produce and end product
  • Maintain precise stock control and rotation
  • Demonstrated experience in consistent quality
  • Exceptional time management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sound knowledge & adherence to HACCP

The Byford & Districts Country Club Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation located in natural surroundings in Byford WA, 20 minutes from Perth and 30 minutes from Mandurah.  

The Club is the largest Club of its kind in Western Australia boasting an incredible 13,000 members.  Our Kitchen team is the backbone of our operations serving up over 2,500 meals per week from our full A La Carte menu.
