Australia Day 2019 was full of Ruggers, pluggers and snags at the BDCC. And Strewth, it was a beaut day.
Once again the Byford & Districts Country Club put together another Family-friendly Australia Day Event in what was a celebration of the mate-ship, unity and multiculturalism that makes our country great.
In true Australian style the day started early Featuring with A Giant Inflatable 13 metre Dual Lane Water Slippery slide set up in the Beer garden for kids, both young and old, to race their mates to the end. Lined up next to that was a 4 metre high Bonza Blue Twin Lane Inflatable Slide which was certainly a hit with the kids.

“It was great to see such a diverse make-up of members joining us at the Club for Australia Day” he said
There was no shrimp on the barbie, although there were plenty of prawns on the menu, as our chefs cooked up a storm on the Barbi (although it wasn’t quite a Bunnings snag it still did the trick.
BDCC chief executive Mark O’Neill said that Australia Day 2019 was just another example of how our members really get behind the clubs events.
“We really love putting on these sorts of events. We have such a unique space to work with and it really lets us let the imagination explore a little”
“Although, there is definitely some room for improvement with some of the swings of the willow (Cricket Bat) in our 6 Hit competition” he added.
Members were treated to Live Entertainment and a heap of novelty games to keep them entertained throughout the day as they threw back a coldie and enjoyed a few tinnies.Checkout some highlights below or the full album from the day on the BDCC Facebook Page HERE
