Remembrance Day 2018 – 100 Years on
Sunday the 11th of November 2018 the Byford Classic Car Club will host a special Remembrance Day meet and greet at the Byford & Districts Country Club.
The local Car Club are inviting it’s current members and other car enthusiasts to join them at the Byford & Districts Country Club for the event. The event will be held on what is the 100th year since World War 1. Doug Meiklejohn, of the Byford Classic Car Club, said “On the 11th hour of the 11th day of November 1918 the guns fell silent on the Western Front. The classic car club would like to honour this important day”
At the stroke of 11am attendees will observe a minutes silence and pay their respects Mr Meiklejohn said.
Attendee’s are asked to arrive with your cars between 9.30am and 10am. Coffee and lunch will be available at the Country Club, at 88 Linton Street North, Byford .

The Byford Classic Car Club was founded in 2007 and is in it’s 11th year. The Club focuses on joining car enthusiasts from across the Serpentine Jarrahdale area together to enjoy a shared passion.
Meeting on the fourth Sunday of every month in the Byford & Districts Country Club’s car park, members are encouraged to convoy their classic cars to various points in the area. The Club will often enjoy a social gathering back at the BDCC afterwards.
